Pumpkin Patch

We took a trip to Tallahassee this past weekend. It was not the most glamorous trip. Liam was puking when we started out on Friday and Hadden ended up with an ear infection and a barking cough. So, all in all it was ill. We stopped at the pumpkin patch on our way out of town. Hadden was pretty glazed over but they had a fun time getting out their last bit of energy before the 8 hour trip home. Superfun.

Mr. Al Field Trip- Xander

I was lucky enough to get to go with Xander on his first field trip EVER to see

Mr. Al at the Lyric Theatre in Stuart. Mr. Al is a hippyish kids performer who sings and dances and gives an Eco-friendly message. One of his songs is E*C*O*L*O*G*Y. Xander had a great time and although Mr. Al was super cool, the bus ride seemed to win the Most Fun Award.

Pumpkin Carving

Yesterday we (I) carved our pumpkin. I had lots of help and Liam picked out the face design- Pumpkin Vampire. Because it is so hot here, we will be carving another pumpkin when it gets closer to the big day...Xander has picked a skeleton design for that one- we'll see how good of a carver I am!
