North Carolina July 2009

Boys jumping off a huge rock into the lake.

Our Huge Hermit Crab

My brother got this hermit crab for the boys. It is bigger than my hand and it shell is an average size conch shell. His pinchers are the size of my fingers. The kids have really gotten enthralled with our tank as we have gotten quite a few new additions lately. We now have several fish that they and their friends caught at the Bathtub Beach Reef as well as some I brought home from the Keys.

Jim & Heather's Birthdays and a Trip to the Elliot Museum

Ok, I am playing catch-up...again. Obviously, I am way behind as both of our birthdays are in June! The pics of the boys is at the Elliott Museum on Hutchinson Island. We went while Jim was away in Daytona. They have an old car section as well as miniature circus. The weekend we went they also had a dog circus, a balloon artist, and a cotton candy machine. They are =wearing balloon helmets & holding swords.

It's A.....BOY!

Shocking, I know. Before you ask...no there will not be a 5th and we won't be trying for a girl...
It is VERY obvious I am not meant to raise a girl...thankful for Misty (our dog)!

No pics, sorry, will post a belly shot this next week. Had an appt with my midwife this past week and nothing exciting to report...no news = good news.

8th Anniversary

We went to Benihana, a Japanese steakhouse, for dinner, topped it off with a trip to Publix. Wow, we are exciting!

Lunch Bag Heads

Today when I picked the boys up from preschool, they put their lunch bags on their heads as we walked to the car. They thought it was hilarious...so did I.

Moms & Muffins and Mother's Day Lunch

Friday morning I had Moms & Muffins with Liam at his school. Basically, a muffin for breakfast with Liam as company. He was so excited! He made me a very nice bead bracelet.
I had lunch with Xander at his school for a Mother's Day brunch. Xander made me a placemat, paper flowers, a card, a coaster, and sang me a Mother's Day song! He was su cute. He got up in the morning and got dressed "handsome" and told me I had to wear a flowered dress! We all had a special time together.
Happy Mother's Day!

Xander & the 23rd Psalm

Xander learned the 23rd Psalm at school and has been practicing it for awhile. Yesterday, he came home and told me he needed to tell me something. This is what he said...He did skip a part that included "anenomes" also known as "mine enemies" but so funny!

My Pumpkin

Liam lost another very important tooth

yesterday. The first thing he said was "I can be a pumpkin for Halloween". So cute!

Xander's Self Portrait

Xander's self-portrait and a pic of the beautiful bracelet Xander made me. He hunts for treasures every morning on the playground at his school before school actually starts (one of the teachers sprinkles them all over the payground). He had been collecting these for a few weeks and I helped him make a bracelet with them. He is so proud of himself!

Liam's Birthday Taco Party

On Sunday, we had the Larsen's over for a Taco Party. Not what I would pick but Liam loves tacos and our grill is dead so there ya go. Nick & Andrew were here as a highlight as well as Mel & Sandy. Grandma, Jodi, Mimi, and my mom topped it off. We had tacos and cake. The boys played in the slip and slide and hot tub.

Liam's 7th Birthday Sleepover

Well, I was very quick with the camera on this day. There are only a few pics. Oh-well. Liam had Skyler and Thomas spend the night for his birthday. Jim took the Liam and his friends to 76 Golf World, where they did not play golf. They did play video games and bounce houses. We had a pinata and cupcakes at home afterwards. They had pizza for dinner and stayed up until 9PM. Late at our house! This was the first time Thomas had spent the night at a friend's house- he did great- no problems! They all had a grate time and went home the next

morning!
