Hadden's 3rd Birthday

We drove back from our NC trip on Hadden's birthday. As soon as we returned the rental car (that was fun), we celebrated Hadden's birthday with BBQ & birthday cake. We are having a "real" birthday party for him a few weeks after his actual birthday.

Smokey Mountains, Elk, & Marleigh

We met up with our friends Page, Steve, & Marleigh, who moved from Tallahassee to Durham, NC just before we moved to Melbourne. We spent the day in the mountains walking a trail, picnic lunch, and then swimming in the hotel pool. These elk were just off the road as we were driving so we pulled off to check them out! They got REALLY close!
