Mother's Day 2008

The kids got me a raft for the pool for Mother's Day. They enjoyed pushing me around the pool. As I suspected, I was kicked out of the raft for them to use it as a boat. We had a great day. I had breakfast at Pirates Loft with my mom, both grandmothers, & my aunt. We had a nice time. I then went with my parents to my granparent's house to collect some plants and cleanup some things. We spent the rest of the day in the pool with the boys and enjoying some family time. Thank you Jim for giving me a special day!

Sandhill Cranes

These guys visit our yard & neighbors on a regular basis.

May 2008

Liam was in a variety show at school. The Kindergarten class sang Surfin USA. Liam actually sang and did all the motions. He usually gets scared and doesn't participate but he did great! In the pic he is holding a killer whale that he made and used as a prop in the performance.

Hadden is 22 months old- pic taken at Liam's school.

We were cleaning the garage and turned around to find Liam in the front yard in this chair. He looked hilarious.

Liam received some birhtday money and has waited until now to spend it. He bought Spiderman skates. He is not the most coordinated but is getting the hang of it. He still spends most of his time "skating" on the ground!

Liam & "Muddy"

Sunday afternoon Liam and I were heading out to Publix and Liam spotted this turtle across the street. This turtle was covered in mud- hints the name, "Muddy" that Liam gave him. He lives in the canal next to our house. We saw him again this morning!

Liam's 4th Birthday Party- We're Done!

This was Liam' last birthday celebration for his 6th birthday...I was starting to think that we would be having parties for his 6th birthday until his 7th birthday! We went to Melbourne to celebrate Liam's birthday with Jim's side of the family. We had a breat time. Jim ran in the Melbourne Art Fest 5K with his mom & uncle. We also wen to the Palm Bay pool and had lots of fun!

Liam's 3rd Birthday Party...

Ok, this was Liam's Birthday Party with the YMCA Gymnastics. He had a great time and so did his guests! They did gymnastics (rope swing, balance beam, foam pit, rock wall, & trampoline) for an hour and then had cake. One more party to go...

Liam Birthday Party #2

Liam's 2nd birthday party was at our house with some family. Silly string fight, swimming in the pool, & cookout. Nick & Andrew (cousins) were the highlight guests- wouldn't have been a party without them!

Liam's 6th Birthday- #1

We took the kids to Mulligan's for kids night for dinner the night before Liam's birthday. Liam also brought cookies to school that day for his birthday. It was quite the day.

Hadden 21 months

As it turns out, Hadden is no different than Liam & Xander...naked as soon as we get home. They come in the front door and start peeling off clothes. By the time they reach the back door, they are naked and saying, "I want to go in the pool!" Hadden tries to take his clothes off and he says, "outside Mommy, outside". They are hilarious.

Xander's 4th Birthday- Party #4

This was Xander's 4th and final party. We had it on Sunday afternoon so my aunt, who recently moved back from Venezuela could come. Xander had a good time but it was a bit overcast and the pool was freezing. After about an hour it started raining. Luckily, there is a covered area so all was not lost. He had a great time and mostly enjoyed his birthday because it "lasted a long time". Those are the words he used the other day when I asked him about his favorite part of his birthday. Happy Birthday Xander!

Xander's 4th Birthday- Party #3

Grandma Paula & Grandma Marcy came to celebrate Xander's birthday too! He had a great time and got a new carseat. It is a booster seat that he can strap himself in. He is so excited to be big like Liam. Xander and I made Backyardigan cupcakes because he was so excited about the ones he brought to school and wanted everyone else to see the cupcakes he made. He was so funny, when I told him to make a wish and blow out the candles, he said, "I love applejuice!".

Xander's 4th Birthday- Party #1 & 2

Xander had 4 birthday parties this year instead of one big party. The 1st party was the day before his birthday. Xander and I made cupcakes to bring to school. He picked out Backyardigans cupcake papers and special sprinkles for them. He was so excited! He and I also made a birthday crown before school to wear to his school party. The 2nd party was on his actual birthday. He wanted doughnuts, so we had birthday doughnuts with candles! I told him I would make anything he wanted for dinner. He replied with "noodles". I reminded him that he doesn't like nodles of any kind, not even macaroni and cheese. He said "Yes I do, the kind in the blue plastic that are curly". It turns out, he wants Ramen Noodles for his birthday dinner. Scary!
