Where the Sidewalk Ends

We took a family bike ride (minus Jim...on call at work) on Sunday. This was the first ride with all 4 boys. I borrowed a friend's (Thx Michelle!) bike trailer for Quade. We rode through our neighborhood and down the main road to "where the sidewalk ends". That is what the kids call it. We went about 2 miles. It was fun, a little stressful, and relaxing at the same time. Tuesday we're riding to school!

Halloween Parade, Pumpkin Centers, & MeMaw Mail

When we got home from school, there were packages on our doorstep from MeMaw. They tore into them and ate all the snacks immediately. They are very excited about the flashlights, blinking necklaces, and the Halloween bags. They plan to use their bags for trick or treating. Thanks MeMaw & Diane!

Liam and Xander had a Halloween parade at school today. Liam was a soldier today and Xander was Super Why. They both seemed to have a great time. They both also had Center Day in their classes. I went to Liam's for a bit then to Xander's. Liam did a picture frame craft and made a Halloween necklace. Xander painted a bag pumpkin and made mini Pumpkin pie.

Pretty funny...most people have tons of pictures taken of their first born and go a little over the top with their first and then do less and less with future children. I think I may be doing the opposite!

Maternity Portraits

My friend, Amy, is a photographer and gave me a portrait session as a baby gift. She took the pictures at the beach next to Bathtub beach and the pics of me and the boys were taken at the park in our neighborhood. I was 35 weeks and they were taken on Sept. 9, 2009.
